Sera Taíno is the author of several short contemporary romances, including her latest, “Slant Rhyme,” part of the Heart’s Desire: A Contemporary Romance Collection from The New Romance Cafe. All proceeds benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Her unpublished, #ownvoices novel, Incomparable, won first place in the Contemporary Romance category of the San Francisco Area Romance Writers Association’s 2019 Heart-to-Heart Contest. She is currently seeking representation for this novel as the first of a four-novel series.

She is also writing a historical romance set in Puerto Rico just after World War II, tentatively titled The Troubadour. It is the first book of a planned trilogy.

When she is not writing, she can usually be found teaching, running, or wrangling her offspring.
